In late 1995, my family moved from North Nottinghamshire to a small village called Evesbatch. The property was in a sorry state, as was the small 2 acre lake. Since then, I have strived to improve the lake and make it once more popular to a small number of anglers in the area.
There was already an established fishery downstream from the Old Lake called Evesbatch Fisheries, run by Kevin Ellaby, a keen angler. Evesbatch Fisheries consists of two small lakes known as Bottom and Top Lake, as can be seen in the picture below
